The "circulating tumor cells automatic detection system for clinical evaluation of precision cancer diagnosis solutions" project proposed by our company was recognized by the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and received a subsidy from the "Digital Medical Industry Development and Cross-Domain Promotion Plan".
The "IronMag®circulating tumor cells automatic detection system" jointly developed by our company and Inventec Group is a fully automated circulating tumor cells detection system that can automatically complete procedures such as specimen processing, circulating tumor cells separation and staining, image analysis and report output. Testers only need to put blood samples, reagents and consumables into the device, and the system will automatically run and produce interpretation results.
The core technology of "IronMag®circulating tumor cells automatic detection system" is negative screening. Compared with the breadth of positive screening, negative screening can use specific biomarkers to capture various types of circulating tumor cells (Circulating Tumor Cell, Hereinafter referred to as CTC), it is supplemented by automated functions to achieve rapid detection, and can understand the dynamic changes in the course of cancer based on the increase or decrease in the number of CTCs.
The clinical trial of this project is to introduce the IronMag® automatic detection system into the auxiliary diagnostic evaluation of cancer and analyze the genetic variation of CTCs, in order to achieve the efficiency of rapid auxiliary diagnosis in the clinical diagnosis of different cancer types, and to assist doctors in choosing more accurate and effective treatment methods in medication guidelines.
Our company's general manager Zeng Qing'an said that through the clinical scientific verification of this project, we hope to increase the willingness to cooperate between medical institutions and biomedical related industries, and to enter the clinical testing and treatment market. In the future, an intelligent cancer precision detection platform can be developed. Through specific scientific detection data, treatment courses and medications can be customized to reduce ineffective treatments and achieve precision medical goals.
